Santa will once again be visiting American Canyon. The Fire Department has
coordinated with Santa's staff and will be escorting Santa to various locations
within the city. Don't forget your camera.

sponsoring the “Toys For Tots” drive in American Canyon. Anyone wishing to

The City of American Canyon will be hosting another CPR Saturday on Saturday
November 8th. Do you need CPR for your job or would like to learn
these life saving skills? You can receive an American Red Cross
certification in Adult CPR. This is a quick and easy way to update your
adult CPR skills. There will be more than one session held. You
will not be able to register at the event. You must
pre-register by Thursday, November 6. Registration is limited to 16 per
session.

For Immediate Release
On Tuesday, September 30, 2008, The American Canyon Fire
Protection District will conduct a Fire District Board of Directors Meeting. The
meeting will be held at the new Public Safety Facility located at 911 Donaldson
Way East, American Canyon commencing at 5:30 p.m.
The Fire District Board of Directors Meetings will be held every
fifth Tuesday. The agenda will be posted at the Fire Station, City Hall and
Community Services as well as this website:

American Canyon has a new Assistant Fire Chief. Fire Chief Glen Weeks
announced that Assistant Chief John Fitch will be joining the American Canyon
Fire District. Chief Fitch is due to start on July 7, 2008.
